Tom Ford Lipstick

Tom Ford is the designer of designers. Admired by those in the fashion industry and lusted after by both men and women. His style is impeccable, and designs are wonderful. Over the past year Tom Ford released a beauty line, and not one to miss a trick, I was presented with the most divine lip stick I've ever been given as a birthday present.



The Tom Ford make up range has an old-school glamour feel about it, from the casing, design, and campaigns. It's old-Hollywood glamour but with contemporary details such as and the shades are indicative of the times because every lip colour, though mostly classic, is bang on trend.



It comes in a gold-lined white square case, and just screams luxury. 'Tom Ford' is embossed into the gold-topped lip, announcing to the world that you're a fan of the luxury beauty products.



Remove the lid and you'll see a perfectly shaped lipstick, which looks as creamy as it feels.



The lipstick glides on well, and although moisturising, you can feel the colour 'stick' to your lips if you know what I mean.



Once applied the staying power makes the cost of the lipstick worth it. It stood the test of three drinks, one of which was tea, the other two, water and fruit juice.

Ford's lipstick is the crème de la crème in the make up world, I have only used the red shade, but it's one of my favourites.



[ADVERT]The quality of the lipstick warrants the price, but I tend to forget about the cost because of how long-wearing the lip colour is. Instead of having to constantly re-apply, I barely retouched my lipstick, which is a rare quality.

Perhaps it's the shade, casing, or simple fact it's a Tom Ford lipstick that I've fallen for, but I can honestly say it is one of the best lipsticks I have had the pleasure of using. I use it for special occasions as opposed to casual 'daytime' make up because of it's sentimental value, however if you choose a more neutral shade, I feel the lipstick would last a long time. It has longevity, and as shallow as it sounds, whipping out your Tom Ford lip and applying it whilst out and about, certainly turns a few heads.
