Finding the right foundation for your skin is important as it provides the base from which to apply the rest of your makeup. However, choosing the one that is right for you can get complicated. These foundations have a great lightweight formula that provides light to medium coverage. You will probably want to use this during the day or for a natural look at night. It feels silky smooth and glides straight onto the skin which is really nice. It also feels light on the skin which I like. Use this if you dislike that heavy, caked-on feeling after applying makeup. When I apply this foundation, I find that it blends in easily and gives my skin an all over even tone.



Nevertheless, you will definitely need to set this foundation with a good powder as it doesn’t seem to set very well on its own. Its lightweight formula means that it comes off more easily than other foundations I have tried. Furthermore, this formula gives my skin a shiny finish which probably wouldn’t work very well in the middle of summer or if you have oily skin. With the right powder, however, it does look naturally flawless.



With twelve colour varieties available, you should have no trouble picking the right colour for your skin tone. The full range includes ivory, classic ivory, nude beige, creamy natural, sandy beige, natural beige, medium buff, natural buff, pure beige, sun beige, honey beige and caramel. I use the classic ivory and find that it matches my light skin tone perfectly. Make sure you spend some time testing the product to find the ideal colour for you.



It is intended to be a natural formula, allowing for maximum breathability. Therefore, don’t expect this foundation to mask what you consider to be your imperfections. Instead of hiding your complexion, it highlights your natural skin tones. Personally, I think this is great. However, if you are looking for maximum coverage, this definitely isn’t the right foundation for you. You’ll finish with a lovely fresh look that you can either leave as is or build on with other makeup.



With an SPF 18 this foundation is perfect for daytime wear, giving your skin the protection it needs. This is a plus when you want to look fantastic as well as take care of yourself. I purchased this foundation for $18.95 and overall am happy with the formula. My only advice is to be aware of what your skin needs and what kind of coverage you want from your foundation. Like any foundation, it doesn’t hold the secret to perfect looking skin. However, it certainly does help.
