Marzipan Block by Walbaur

I bought this for a recipe to make a cake, however could not resist tasting it as is! It is very good, albeit slightly sweet!

It is generally for use in icings on fruit cakes, however I will use it IN the cake as I could not find another marzipan for a recipe I want to make.

I bought this at Kakulas Sisters in Hillsborough Drive, Nollamara, for $6.45 for 225 g.

Summary
Very good marzipan, and much easier than trying to make it yourself -would be great on top of a Christmas cake.
