Glory Coconut Spread Kaya

Kaya is a sweet creamy coconut egg spread made from a base of coconut milk, eggs, sugar and flavored and coloured with the essence of pandan leaves. It is a wildly popular spread usually served on buttered toast in Malaysia and Singapore.

We bought it for $2.80 at Chhoung Phat Asian Grocery, Shop 18, 237 Martins Rd, Parafield Gardens, SA 5107.
