Clinique AntiBlemish Solutions

Despite being more expensive than some other skincare products, Clinique's Anti-Blemish solutions range are the only anti-blemish products that seem to suit my skin condition.

Having a combination-dry skin means I have oily T-zone while other areas of my skin are slightly dry on my face. The condition also varies on seasons. For example, the skin is more oily during the summer and drier during the winter.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions range includes the 3-step skin care range, spot treatment gel and the even better dark spot corrector special treatment.


The 3-step products include cleansing foam, clarifying lotion and clearing moisturiser. I do not use the cleansing foam since I am quite happy with Sebamed facial wash.


After facial cleansing in step 1, Step 2 of the 3-Step system is the clarifying lotion. It is an important step not to be missed as the lotion helps to exfoliate and clear dead surface cell. My skin feels less oily and shiny due to the oil-absorbing powders in the lotion. Oily skin is prone to breakouts, so it is really important unclog pores.


Step 3 is the oil-free Clearing Moisturiser. It has soothing, lightweight formula which helps to treat existing blemishes and prevent future breakouts. The moisturiser also helps to minimise dryness and peeling. I could see reduction in skin breakout after 3 months of consistent application every morning and evening. I'm still using it continuously to prevent breakouts and control access oil.


The spot treatment gel works wonders! I absolutely love it for the effectiveness in reducing visible redness and blemish size overnight. Just dab a tiny drop on the affected area every morning and evening for recovery.


This is another product from Clinique which is a must-have for those who have traces of past blemishes and dark spots. The Even Better Dark Spot Corrector improves the evenness of skin tone and reduces the visibility of dark spots and traces of blemishes. For better results, I wear daily sunscreen after applying this product. It is also suitable for neck, chest and hands.
