Cara Cara Pink Flesh Navel Orange

I discovered this new variety of navel oranges at the market and I absolutely love it. It is relatively new to Australia.

It looks like a normal orange from the outside, but wait to be surprised. The big difference is the internal flesh - it's like a ruby grapefruit.

It has the usual navel flavour with a light hint of cherry, cranberry sweetness. It is lower in acid and taste more like a tangy tropical fruit.
