I first came across the Yalla brand recently on a business class flight back home to Sydney for work. I've recently had to adopt a gluten and dairy free diet to clear up my skin from recent breakouts; all due to greater work responsibilities, working longer hours, and sleeping less at the moment.
Having phoned the airline to arrange a gluten free dinner; I forgot to mention that my dietary requirements are dairy free at the moment too. As a result, I initially tried Yalla's Chocolate Mousse on the plane for dessert, and I was impressed. This inspired me to break my diary free diet once more, and find out if Yalla manufactures gluten free yoghurts. Hooray, they do.
Their guava yoghurt is quite sweet, yet it tastes different to any other yoghurt. My favourite was the banana and prune yoghurt. The flavours are strong, and this flavour is not overly sweet. Despite having milk in them, I've noticed a remarkable improvement in my skin from consuming these two yoghurt products. At $4 a tub at Thomas Dix grocers, they do not come cheap. This is a quality product.
