Generally, these types of products do not taste the same as fresh, however I usually only need a bit and end up throwing most of a bunch of herbs out, so decided to try this.

It does taste like basil however is not the same as using fresh!

It is concentrated, so you do not need a lot of it in your cooking.

I bought this at Woolworths online for $1.99.

Summary
Great for stand by if you need herbs and do not grow them, or if you just need a small amount.
