I am forever looking for a foundation which gives me a flawless complexion (aren't we all?); I have tried a number of beauty brands, and recently come across Smashbox Liquid Halo Foundation ($32.00).

I've never been a fan of Smashbox cosmetics because they rarely have the right shade for my skin tone. However, Smashbox's new foundation is of a different breed.

As the name suggests, Liquid Halo is formulated with what they call 'liquid light technology', which promises to give you a flawless airbrush-like result.

I'm sceptical of such claims, but having tried the foundation in Selfridges, as well as trying it alone at home, the result is always the same: a flawless finish.

The foundation is available in 10 versatile shades and it gives light to medium coverage that’s also sweat and humidity resistant.
