Pine nuts are one of the more expensive nuts available and as I wanted a very small amount, I bought Select, Woolworths home brand.

I would not willingly buy these again as they seemed smaller than the brand I normally buy.

This 80 g pack cost $5.50 at Woolworths online, and I have just noticed that it says "ideal for cooking"....not sure if this means not OK for salads!

Summary
Not the best pine nut I have had, but this is why I do not buy home brands often.
