Sally Hansen is one of the most prolific nail technicians in the world. Their varnishes and renowned for delivering on colour and longevity. It's a wonder why I haven't used a Sally Hansen nail varnish before.
I purchased the Nude Now shade, from Boots on my local high street, however you can purchase the varnish from the boots and Sally Hansen websites.
The varnish bottle is relatively slick, with a shiny silver lid, so clear you can see the reflection of your nails, if you're without a mirror.
Nude Now is one of the more popular shades according to the website, and I can see why. It's the perfect shade of 'nude' for my skin tone.
The brush is large, and covers the whole nail in one fell swoop.
It goes on naturally, and quite fine, so I used two coats. The result is a relatively sheer and natural looking colour. I've been trying to find a nail varnish which yields a professional finish, so I didn't have to spend money on a trip to the nail salon. Thankfully, it was £6.95 well spent.
I was happy with the final finish, but the true test was abut to happen: the washing up. Two days of washing up, showering, finding my keys in my bag, and generally living life, I inspected my nails. They were just as flawless as they were two days before.
Impressed, I'm thinking of investing in a few more colours, especially with such a successful finish, and long lasting lacquer life.
