Pukka is the all-natural organic skincare and consumables company based in the UK.
Until recently I didn't realise their product line extended to beauty, but I stumbled across their blue camomile and rosehip oil firming eye cream in T K Maxx. Although I found it in store, you can buy their products via their website.
I usually buy their tea, so my interest was peaked when I spotted their eye cream. Pukka has a reputation for providing tea lovers with imaginative blends, so I was interested in how they approached beauty.
They are as stringent about the organic and natural ingredients in their skincare, as they are about their tea. The eye cream is 92% organic; I read the ingredient list, and each herb is certified organic. I have carried out about research about the benefits of blue camomile, so I know how good it is for the skin.
When applied to the skin, it adds a light sheen, but it sinks in almost immediately. To be honest I don't need to use the firming eye cream, it would suit middle aged individuals better, but I stand by 'a prevention is better than a cure' idea.
Irrespective of the appropriateness of me using the eye cream on myself, I can't deny the effectiveness of the product, and how luxurious it felt gently rubbing natural oils into my skin, which did have an ever so slight tightening effect to my surprise. My Mother said the same. Natural is clearly the way forward.
can I ask you , I recently started using this product... I kinda don't know if it is working or that it's having a negative impact...could be in my head but just wondering if you or any of your readers found anything negative about the product? Fiona
