Origins is the natural skincare brand, which is 'powered by nature, proven by science'. Their products include a skin care range targeted at different requirements (acne, wrinkles, dryness), all with the power of natural ingredients. Until recently I only discovered their hair care range, which is as effective as their skin products.

I'm a big fan of their Ginger Body Souffle, so I was delighted when I received their Ginger Up Aromatic Conditioner as a Christmas present.

The bottle has a simple, yet chic design, and will make my bathroom cabinet look that bit more luxe.

Formulated with parabens, animal ingredients, or synthetic colour, it was right up my street.

It makes a perfect gift for the friend who loves 'smellies'. The conditioner is naturally scented with ginger bergamot, lemon and lime it i fruity yet spa-like in fragrance.

To be completely honest it's the scent which won me over, more than the benefits of the product itself. The product is a relatively fine lotion, heavily scented, and despite it's less than thick texture, it still moisturises the hair deeply.

Sometimes hair conditioner can weigh hair down, however, the Origins conditioner was surprisingly lightweight.

Buy the conditioner (14.00) from either an origins concession in Selfridges, Harvey Nichols or House of Fraser, from Boots or via their website.
