MUA eyebrow pencil (£1.00) in 'brunette' is the best I've pencil ever used. It beats high street brands like Rimmel in terms of colour (Rimmel's is a bit of an unusual shade), and more luxurious make up brands like MAC (too expensive), which I found just a little standard.
I only bought this pencil on a whim about three months ago, when I'd ran out of my usual Rimmel branded one. The pencil doesn't come in fancy packaging, or have a big marketing campaign behind this bargain brand, but at £1.00 I thought I'd give it a go. Three months down the line, I'm hooked.
The pencil is creamy, glides on really well and builds colour easily. It is undoubtedly the softest tip I've used which makes it easier to use than the harder pencils on the market. I don't like scratching my eyebrows, so the soft tip is brilliant if you have sensitive skin like I do.
If you like a satorial strong and defined brow 'look', like supermodel Cara Delevigne, MUA has the perfect pencil because of the little eyebrow brush on the opposite end of the pencil.
I like it when products work, and the MUA eyebrow pencil in brunette defines, colours and highlights your eyebrows. The brunette shade is perfect if you have dark hair and a medium to dark skin tone. They also sell another shade for blonde haired folk.
It is truly the best eyebrow pencil I've used. You can buy it from high street store Superdrug, or from the MUA website. If you're a UK resident and would prefer to try before you buy, pop in to your nearest Superdrug store. If you find it, stock up because three stores in Birmingham city centre were all out when I visited a few weeks ago - clearly savvy shoppers have cottoned on to the money for value and great product that is the eyebrow pencil.
The eyebrow pencil beats the big brands in terms of quality of the product, but mostly in terms of price. For £1.00 I had initially expected a bit of temperamental pencil, but it has replaced my other pencil, and I've got my friends using it too.
It's always nice when the smaller brands produce something really good and it turns out to be a key part of your beauty regime. Try it, and watch it make your eyes pop because a defined brow can really 'lift' your face, which is what people have been saying to my mom since she's been using it.
