MAC Studio Finish Concealer is undeniably the best one I've used to date. Ever since I was about sixteen, I've been aware of slightly dark circles under my eyes, and during my late teens I was incredibly insecure about them. To find a product, which not only works, but also gets rid of my insecurities is thus, wonderful.
I have previously used Bobbi Brown concealer, which costs £22.00. In the store the concealer looked great, but when I applied it at home, I looked weirdly pale and slightly grey - the colouring was completely off.
With MAC I tried it on in store, and thankfully, when I returned home, my blemishes, as well as under-eye dark circles were covered. It wasn't a heavy application, but I looked lighter, brighter, and (more than anything), less tired.
I wouldn't say I like (or need) a heavy application of concealer, to cover my unwanted areas, but with the MAC concealer, you truly only need a small amount for a flawless face.
It blends beautifully on a bare face too.
The coverage is phenomenal. I don't like to wear a lot of make up as it is, however, wearing the concealer alone is just enough to ensure I feel confident and that my skin looks good.
For a small pot (you get a small, but deep pot), it costs £15.00. A student discount is available. If they don't have your colour in store (Selfridges), buy it online, or get it from the MAC store.
It's an absolute investment, and has given me the brightest peepers. Instead of covering up, it highlights your beauty. Win - win, and for a high quality product like MAC, I don't think £15.00 is lot. It's my beauty bag essential.
Neutral cool or neutral warm. I'm NW because I have naturally slightly red undertones. A make up artist will help discover which shades fit your skin tone, ensuring the perfect match.
