MAC Mineralize is one of the beauty industry dominator's most successful range. From foundation, eyeshadow, to powder, the power and professional finish of minerals is incredible.
I use their Skinfinish Natural powder because although i don't suffer with greasy skin, or shine, it is a key product in my make up bag. I use it mainly to contour because the mineralise powder (although advertised as slightly matte), has a gentle shimmer and gleam.
On the website the powder is described as:
"A luxurious domed face powder with minerals, slowly baked to provide a dimensional yet natural-matte finish. Provides perfect low coverage. Use to set and fix foundation or as a touch-up throughout the day" - MAC.
- The PR people at MAC aren't wrong, nor are they exaggerating, this natural mineralise powder does exactly what it says on the tin.
I discovered the powder during the summer when I wanted a slightly bronzed but natural look. I was advised by my cousin to try the MAC mineralize powder.
I use the Deep Dark shade, which is the perfect colour for a contouring, slightly bronzed look.
If you don't want to use a liquid foundation use the powder because it provides superb coverage and it is easy to build colour.
If you want a heavy coverage beware of how much you apply. For full coverage don't be tempted to apply a lot because a little goes a long way. That said, it depends on your primer. I only use a small amount to set
The ingredients are made up of natural minerals, which offers a more professional finish, than a regular bronzer, or powder which is not made of minerals.
Buy it from their website, a MAC store, or Selfridges in the beauty hall.
