These guides are updated each year and are a handy way to keep track of the GI and GL values of food. They cover most foods, and are pretty thorough on things like fruits and vegetables, but there's still products not covered. My book gets pretty specific on some brands too, like Bakers Delight, and gives you example portion sizes. It's also printed in Australia, so I liked that I was familiar with the brands and the way the sizes are expressed (eg, by cup size).
