This is a tin of Wild Alaskan Salmon, chunk style in springwater.
I usually peel off the skin on salmon in a tin as I do not like the slippery feeling of it, however not sure it is a good idea not to have the bones included as they are packed full of calcium, and therefore good for you.
I paid $3.36 at Coles online (cheaper in store) for a 130 g can.
Summary I always buy John West in canned fish, and it is always very good, as is this wild Alaskan salmon.
Oh! Finy, this might be good to use for my salmon kedgeree bake!
I usually buy Red Salmon, place in bowl, & with plastic gloves on, get rid of those horrible little bones! I have hated them with a passion ever since I chomped on some in a sandwich, when I was a child! Aaaarrrrrggggghhhh!
