Entertainment Book

I am a freelance writer, a food enthusiast and an explorer. Check out my weekendnotes profile: http:/ www.weekendnotes.com/profile/177032/

The Entertainment book is a local restaurant and activity guide which is also a goldmine of lucrative offers from a wide array of restaurants, parks, tourist destinations, hotels, magazines and so forth.

This book costs $65 and can be obtained from any charitable organisation. Purchase can be made online with an additional delivery cost of $10. This book is valid for one year, a given year ending on 1 June of the Gregorian calendar. Almost all major cities of Australia have been covered by different versions of the book, for instance, there is a book for Greater Melbourne while another one caters for Sydney-siders.

The book comes complete with an Entertainment Gold card which requires registration on the official website. Upon registration, you are free to use the card wherever permitted. As a sidenote, there is a replacement fee of $20 in the event of a loss of the card. The fine dining restaurant offers in the book can often be redeemed by swiping the membership card at the venue. The back of the card is adorned with numbers starting from 1 to 187, which can be construed as 187 restaurant offers can be redeemed by the usage of the card. To give you some perspective, if you are to visit a restaurant that is symbolised by the number 75 on the back of the card, then before paying the bill you would need to give it to the restaurant authorities in order for them to scratch out the number 75 from the card. Once scratched, that same offer cannot be used again. However, the bulk of the offers are evidenced by the vouchers in the book that need to be physically handed over to the relevant venue.

The offers that are usually featured include 2 for 1 deals or 25-30% of entire bill. Further, on a regular basis special offers are made available by the Entertainment book authorities. Members are notified of these special offers via email and the official website. Offers encompass fine and contemporary dining, café and bistro dining, informal dining and takeaway, arts, sports, tourist attractions, shopping, travel and leisure, hotel and resorts, retail and other services and so on.

In all honesty, the book incorporates 200 pages of tantalising and lucrative offers which may not be feasibly used up in one given year. Therefore, you can choose to give out some of the vouchers to grateful family, friends and colleagues who may be able to take advantage of the invaluable offers.

In many respect, the Entertainment book is more than just a voucher book. It is your doorway to an enchanting world of delectable cuisines, trips and holidays at a heavily discounted price, your grand opportunity to immerse yourself into the unknown and try new things and new places while feeling satiated and enriched.
