I recently discovered Crystal Clear beauty brand. Aimed at people in their early 30's, I'm not quite the Crystal Clear customer, but in my eyes, prevention is better than a cure.
It is an expensive buy; for the roll-on 'lift away the years pen' they charge £59.99, and the '10 minute glow' costs £24.99. Discounted prices can be found on Ebay however, which is where I bought mine. I paid £50 for the set, which saved me £35.00.
I can't deny it, I was won over by the title '10 minute glow' (face mask), and the fact that Crystal Clear apparently serves a number of celebrities who have luminous skin.
The mask is thick and creamy in texture, and glides on to your skin smoothly.
I was hoping for a miracle, and after 10 minutes, I peeled off my mask, hoping to reveal fresh, new skin, and I wasn't let down. My skin looked pretty much the same, but slightly pink. When I rinsed the excess product off, and touched my face however I really felt a difference. I can't explain the feeling any better, but my face felt a little bit tighter - not that I had, or have any sort of sagging skin. I was, however using the product because I do get the odd breakout that can last up to a week, and I get 'dehydration lines' on my forehead. I wasn't sure if it was because I had just rinsed my face with cool water, but the spots I had were less red, and my dehydration lines, had genuinely disappeared.
The makers of Crystal Clear recommend using the 10 minute glow once a week, but if you're under 35 years of age, and have relatively 'good' skin, I wouldn't recommend using it more than once a month. The results lasted just over two weeks for me, and even though I eat well, and exercise, my skin stayed pretty much spot-free, and line-free.
Maybe I just need earlier nights, but I was very impressed with the 10 minute glow.
After using 10 minute glow
Lift away the years, really was a waste of money for my skin. It did get rid of the dehydration lines at the sides of my forehead, but the tightness, and slight dryness I experienced made it unsuitable for my skin type. This particular product is definitely better for older skin, I'd say 40 .
My mother after using lift away the years
I actually gave the product to my mother who is in her early fifties, and she loves it. Her skin does look 'fresher', and the ball-point roll on means it's easy to use, even for the less delicate of hands.
At £56.99, lift away the years is quite pricey for my budget, but if you're a high flyer who can afford to indulge on beauty products, then give it a go. For 20 beauty addicts, like myself, however, I recommend the 10 minute glow. It works, your skin glows, and it gets rid of congestion, and makes you look as though you've had eight hours sleep, even if you've been up all night.
