The croissant doughnut is a hybrid of thin buttery flakey croissant layers and deep-fried.
Even the most die-hard sweet tooth will find it difficult to finish off more than one cronut in a sitting. It’s sinfully delicious but overly sweet and rich and a leaves a fatty, buttery residue in your mouth after eating.
Nice but far too sweet for my palate.
