Oh! Finy, I've had a Bamix forever! It's just THE best for a quick blend!
I loved chilled (tinned) Asparagus or Cream of Celery Soups. I add one can of milk, to soup, 'zapp' it with Bamix, & all is smooth! Cook it in M/W, allow to cool until ok to put in 'fridge!
When serving, add a 'dollop' of Sour Cream! Yummy! Perfect for a hot day!
